RED - A Tribute by Tom Mullica
Sunday, February 12, 2012
7:00PM
Sidney High School Auditorium

It’s hysterical! – It’s heartwarming! – It’s fun for the entire family!  Join us for a night of warm, gentle humor at America’s funniest tribute show.  Tom Mullica pays tribute to America’s Most Beloved Clown as he magically transforms himself into the comedy genius of Red Skelton live on stage.  Red Skelton was an American comedian, best known as a top radio and television star from 1937 to 1971.  Skelton’s show business career began in his teens as a circus clown and went on to Broadway, films, radio, TV, night clubs and casinos.  Join Freddy the Freeloader, Clem Kadiddlehopper, George Applebee and a legion of memorable characters in this wonderfully-funny tribute performance by Tom Mullica.
“ From the day we met in the early 80’s, Red and I shared moments of both happiness and sadness together.  Red was kind to everyone he met; he was a touchable person who shared his life with those around him. He lived every day as if it was Christmas.  He gave me permission to use his material, gave me W.C. Field’s twisted pool cue and most importantly, he trusted me.  I once told him I didn’t feel as though I was contributing anything to life, and what I was doing doesn’t mean anything to anyone except me.   He said, “Tom, don’t talk like that and never forget that laughter, and being able to evoke it, is a gift of the Gods!”

Oh What a Night! - A Tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons
Sunday, April 1, 2012
7:00PM
Sidney High School Auditorium

Oh What a Night! is an exciting musical revue written and directed by independent Motown producer and creative consultant George Soloman, and award-winning producer/director Michael Chapman with choreography by Paul Holmquist. Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Walk Like A Man, Can't Take My Eyes Off You, My Eyes Adore You, Working My Way Back To You, Lets Hang On and Who Loves You are just some of the many hits you'll enjoy from the dynamic song book.  This loving concert tribute will feature all the original hits as well as several top 10 releases not in Broadway's Tony awarding-winning hit, The Jersey Boys.   The show and delivers informative and often hilarious banter between our stellar, high-spirited cast. Fans of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons will surely want to see Oh What a Night!

In 1990 Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons were included into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. To this day their unique and irresistible music continues to thrill all ages. The personable cast of Oh What a Night! stay true to the original recordings without trying to mimic or impersonate the group...And their interpretation of these classic hits are so true to the original recordings that it must be pointed out that our cast is singing live and not lip-syncing. The end result is a show as fresh and relevant today as it is nostalgic for the purists. The audience gets to know and love our four dynamic talents and cheer them on with each exciting, individual performance.

This exhilarating music revue has been thrilling audiences with great choreography, boundless energy, humor and, of course, instantly recognizable classic pop songs that make this show indeed...Oh What a Night!
