The Gateway Arts Council
(GAC) was founded in 1988 to promote participation in and appreciation of the
arts in Shelby County. It does so through
support from hundreds of area residents who make tax-deductible donations
annually. Additional support comes from corporations and foundations.
Your membership contribution
to a not-for-profit corporation is deductible to the extent permitted by
law. All gifts are listed in GAC’s
annual report and in programs distributed at GAC events. Donations are welcome
in any amount, small and large. For listing purposes, our contributors
are recognized for their support as follows:
Benefactors ($5,000 or more), Producers ($1,000 to $4,999), Directors
($500 to $999), Stage Managers ($250 to $499), Partners ($100 to $249), and
Friends ($30 to $99).

Membership…
GAC members enjoy a 10%
discount on tickets to GAC Presents Series events. Members enjoy preferred
seating at YES! Series events. Members are recognized in GAC programs and
annual reports. Members are invited to a donor/volunteer appreciation
reception.
