Gateway Arts Council (GAC) is governed by a volunteer board of trustees and a full-time executive director. There is also a full-time assistant director. There are more than 60 people serving on permanent committees and hundreds of special project volunteers from the community. Programming decisions are made by committees and approved by the board, thereby reflecting the interests of the community. GAC makes a special effort to ensure that specific populations are represented both on the board and in all of its committees.
